| This week we had our first heavy rains in Nicaragua. The change in pressure brought in the fish for our crew from Puerto Rico; Juan Carlos, Javier, Frank and Jose. The guys, as you can see from the pics, slayed it!! Jose caught a Sailfish on a live bridle-rigged Dorado, our second Sailfish release of the season. Juan Carlos and Frank each landed a Wahoo; Frank's hit on the last pass of the day with just minutes to spare before sunset. We even turned Javier, the self proclaimed non-fisherman, into a fish fanatic!! With Jose's Sailfish catch the PR crew won the weekly Calcutta and donated the proceeds to the Nica Clinic (www.nicaclinic.org). |
