Today Gibson, Jimmy, “Gnarly” Norling, and I went pre-fishing for the big fishing tournament this weekend. Last year we caught a bunch of Dorado, but did not find the big one and did not score any trophies. To say the least, I was let down and determined to have a better showing this year. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that there are new categories in this tourney including, most overall weight, Mackeral, Jacks, and Wahoo. We went out today trying to dial in the Macks and Jacks. We did just that, catching over 300lbs of fish and getting everything tuned up for the weekend. We even managed to catch a nice 20lb yellowfin tuna for some tasty sushi. I also threw in a shot from the day before of a Mack that Jeff caught on a topwater plug out behind the house. Also check out this guy in Astillero carrying a 50 hp engine on his shoulder and check out my rigged up mackeral for the big bite! The team seems super focused, and I am feeling confident that we can produce!
