Everyone has been bugging me to get the footage up from this years Flor De Caña / Toyota Cup of Billfishing. I have been in Texas chasing the elusive white-tailed deer and have been totally slacking on the Cap's Log... Sorry guys! So I went ahead and cranked out a trailer to the video I am working on. I hope this keeps you guys salivating and waiting for more! Big ups to the whole team, you guys kicked ass and I am truly proud to be part of Team SUBU!!!!!! We have just started this journey and I can't even imagine where we are going to end up!!! YYYYYEEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! SSSSSUUUUUUBBBBBBUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some pics from George, Dan, and Mike's charter in late November. Thanks to Donald Stone for the great surf shots!

This was a big day for the Va Pué. Auto Nica came out from Managua to give her the first re-power she has ever had. That's right, we have run the same engine for over 5 years and have not had any major problems with it. It never once left us stranded in over 5,000 hours of operation. This is a testament to SUZUKI four stroke engines. We have literally risked our lives going out over 50 miles with only one engine knowing that this incredible piece of machinery would do it's part. You may be asking, "Why are you putting on a new engine if there is nothing wrong with it?" Well, we would like to thank SUZUKI Motors for sponsoring us out with great deal on our new engine. Due in part from our top notch results in Nicaraguan Sport Fishing Tournaments, SUZUKI is bringing us on the team to join the SUZUKI family! Thanks to SUZUKI and to AUTO-NICA for taking great care of us over the years! After Va Pué got her re-power, we took her and the mechanics out and put the first blood on the new motor!!! For any questions regarding SUZUKI engines in Nicaragua, contact Alvaro Sandino @ 266-6555. Thanks again SUZUKI and AUTO-NICA!!!!

These pics are actually from the 24th of November, the same day we re-powered the Va Pué with her new SUZUKI. After dropping off the mechanics we headed out again to look for more fish. JJ called us on the radio and said they had a big 'ole Rooster Fish hooked up. We pulled up just as they threw this slob in the boat! Nice work boyz! We quickly hooked up a couple as well. It turned out to be a really hot rally right before dark!!
